Lesson 3: Real Estate, E-Commerce, and Data Privacy Policies

For this lesson, the following are tasks to be made:

1. Create a Data Privacy Policy for your company or website that manifest your data collection practices and the awareness of your employees or partners of handling customer data with care. Do a Google or Yahoo or Bing search on “data privacy policy real estate” to see how others do theirs.

If you don’t have a website, the data privacy policy shall cover those who are working for or with you.

The Data Privacy Policy should have provisions that will make you you compliant to the data handling practices prescribed in the Data Privacy Act.

2) Look thru the attached Lesson 3 Assignment on Real Estate Ethics. Choose only one scenario from those given, and answer the questions presented accordingly.  Refer to the Real Estate Ethics and Responsibilities Powerpoint presentation & references enclosed therein.
